What opportunities do we have to get involved?

We are looking for volunteers for programs who like to hike, paddle or fish. We are also looking for volunteers with a wide variety of skills including fundraising. Adaptive Paddling Volunteer

Adaptable Outdoors is on the lookout for volunteers with experience paddling or working with people with disabilities, to help us deliver our Adaptive Paddling Programs. Adaptive Fishing Volunteer

Starting spring/summer 2022 we hope to expand our Adaptive Fishing Program. If you have some fishing experience and have an interest in assisting people with disabilities and/or seniors experience the joys of fishing from shore, kayak or canoe then please get in touch at adaptableoutdoors@outlook.com, or sign up as a volunteer for one of our upcoming fishing programs.

Fundraising Volunteer

Adaptive equipment and the resources required to run programs are expensive and we are in constant need of fundraising activities to keep our programs sustainable and able to help as many people as possible. If you are interested in helping us fundraise to purchase adaptive equipment and cover operational costs, so that we can continue to create outdoor recreation opportunities for our clients, please contact us at adaptableoutdoors@outlook.com

Adaptive Hiking Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers with hiking experience or experience working with people with disabilities to help us deliver our Adaptive Hiking Programs.
