~Adaptable Accessible Adventure Challenge~

Over the summer we have the opportunity for people to set themselves an outdoor challange and fundraise to support our cause.

You create the challenge! No challenge is too big or too small

How to Participate:

Step 1 – Choose your team – You can take part individually or as a part of a team, virtually or in-person. People from anywhere in the world are encouraged to take part and support this campaign!

Click on “Fundraise and make a real difference!”, fill out your information and choose your financial goal

-There is No Minimum fundraising requirement

Once you have registered, check your email as you will have been sent a link to edit your form so you can personalize your challenge however you like!


Step 2 – Choose Your Challenge and edit your Zeffy form – Decide on the activity and distance, or destination! Walk, Wheel, Scooter, Swim, Paddle, Climb, Bike, Run. You choose what works best for you and your challenge!

* This can be limitless – Set goals that are challenging, achievable and matched to your abilities. This could be anything from walking or wheeling around your block to climbing three peaks in a single day – (You will have the ability to edit this when creating your fundraiser)

Here are some examples, but all kinds of active challenges are welcome! The main thing is that you choose something that is challenging for you, that you would feel proud to achieve

Examples: Swim the equivalent distance of the English Channel, wheel the equivalent distance of the height of Mount Everest (8.8km), log so many kilometers over the campaign period with your chosen form of travel, hike to reach a specific mountain peak or lake, use your bowhead/adaptive bike or other form of travel to reach any specific destination or distance goal!

Follow the link sent to your email to activate your account and add your challenge information in your form above the general fundraising campaign information, already included in your form. If you like, you can also personalize your form with a picture that represents you or your challenge and alter the thank you message sent to your donors.

Step 3 – Share your form and Get Sponsored! – Share your fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues to help support your challenge. Please also consider sharing your form on social media, to encourage others to donate or take part in the challenge too. A link and QR code for your challenge is provided while editing your form, for you to share far and wide!

If you like you can use Strava or any other app you already use to track your challenges progress.

Prizes will be given to the top 3 individual fundraisers and top 3 fundraising teams! Prizes will be announced, once confirmed by our generous sponsor organizations.


* TO DONATE: You can donate to an individual, a team, or to the general campaignAll donations will be provided a tax receipt. 

Your donations will help us to achieve our mission & provide the necessary funding to:

☀ Allow us to continue to offer low-cost and free adaptive programming to our clients and their caregivers

☀ Increase our impact by providing more outdoor adventures accessible to all

☀ Increase program opportunities in additional locations in Southern Alberta

All funds raised will be used to support our outdoor adaptive programs, 

 increasing access to outdoor adventures in nature for individuals living with physical and /or cognitive challenges and their caregivers.
