Leave a Legacy

Leave a Gift in Your Will

The Adaptable Outdoors Legacy Circle

For some families, caring for the community they call home is part of their legacy. After taking care of loved ones, even a small gift to Adaptable Outdoors can help keep the outdoors accessible for generations.

Keep the Outdoors Accessible — For Generations to Come

Out here, legacy matters.

It’s about taking care of your family.
Looking after the land.
Helping your neighbours.
Making sure the next generation has the same opportunities you did.

A gift in your Will to Adaptable Outdoor Recreation Society is one way to do exactly that.

For someone who thought they might never fish again after a spinal cord injury, or a senior who believed their days on the trail were over, these moments matter more than words can describe.

Why Consider a Gift in Your Will?

Adaptable Outdoors exists so that people living with disabilities, including many seniors in our rural communities, can experience fishing, hiking, paddling, and time in nature.

For some participants, these programs are their first chance to:

• Fish, hike or paddle alongside friends and family again
• Get back onto the water and into the mountains
• Spend meaningful time outdoors after illness or injury
• Feel capable and included

A gift in your Will helps ensure those opportunities continue long into the future.

What It Means to Leave a Gift

Leaving a gift in your Will:

✔ Costs nothing today
✔ Can be changed at any time
✔ Allows you to look after your family first
✔ Supports accessible outdoor recreation for years to come

There is no minimum amount required. What matters most is your intention to help keep outdoor recreation accessible in our region.
